I do think it's a rich question area, but nobody seems in the mood to
pursue this, just now.

Maybe everybody who might contribute has already been through similar
discussions before.

 /Software Engineering/ is *not really* engineering
and
 /Computer Science/ is *not really* science

are serious theses as well as good trolls. There should be wikipedia
pages on these subjects -- how about you do a report on that? :-)
