It looks like your right. There was a bug deal a while back about Mozilla trying to relicense their code under multiple licenses including GPL. I don't know if they ever followed through and got all the developers to sign off on it. http://www.mozilla.org/MPL/relicensing-faq.html I assumed Firefox was GPL'd because of that but it appears I was wrong. If I grep for GPL in the Firefox source I *do* see it come up. I don't know if that means some pieces *are* GPL'd or not.
