Hello, everybody!

I'm planning to attend the next installfest at the library.
I presume you mean That Technical Bookstore InstallFest on September 8.

I got this VERY
OLD laptop with XP installed on it. My laptop doesn't have a DVD reader. It
only has a CD reader. I want to set up a virtual PC under my XP OS, and I'm
planning to install fedora core on it. I will be using the apache web
server, PHP and MySQL, to make a projet on it.

How much memory and disk space does this VERY OLD laptop have? Enough
for expanding to include the virtual PC and all other software?

Can I get a CD (or set CDs) at the installfest, to install Fedora in this
machine?

By a strange coincidence, there is a set of Fedora Core 6 CDs at the
bookstore, waiting for someone who instead picked up another set from
me at home. Alternatively, Fedora 7 can be installed from a single
live CD, followed by installation of additional features over the
network.

FC6 will not even install in less than 256 MB RAM. I know, I tried on a laptop I'm working on now (Toshiba Tecra 8000) which initially only had 128 MB.
