Wimax can be used for a wide variety of situations so there is no typical
deployment at this point. But anywhere where high bandwidth and where one wants
a wide coverage area is a solution for Wimax. Wimax has a range of 25-50 miles
depending on the the frequency.Wimax uses the 802.16 protocol.

Some dumb questions: How do these things work? What would be a typical
deployment? What "goes-into" and "comes-outof" which end?
