If someone brings a voice recorder, we could put the audio on the

I have to leave work early just to show up late. :-(

My Zen does audio recording, I'd be happy to volunteer. maybe no one would
mind if I stuck it on a front table to pick up the speaker better.

Has anyone ever thought about video recording the meetings? They could be
posted on the net for people that don't live in San Diego. Just a thought.

Video is problematic.

You really need the ability to focus on the speaker and the projection screen, or you need something like 2 or 3 cameras focused on particular areas that the speaker walks into and out of.

Otherwise, it's useless.

Speaking as someone who would *love* to have video of my classes taken while I am teaching at SDSU, it simply requires far too much labor.

Take a look at what the cameraman does for the presentations at Google that they then put on the web. And the cameraman normally kinda sucks.
