The mail server HELO seems fine "sparkplug.kernel-panic.org".

   Hostname resolves fine:

     host sparkplug.kernel-panic.org
     sparkplug.kernel-panic.org has address 63.98.246.161

But I did notice that the IP address has no Reverse Lookup Record (PTR)

    host 63.98.246.161
    Host 161.246.98.63.in-addr.arpa not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)

This will be a problem with a few services, AOL for example. In fact
my own server will not accept mail from "UNKNOWN" hosts ( it resolves the
hostname, then resolves the IP PTR, and compares the hostname and the
resulting PTR record ) but since I use Gmane to access the
mailing-lists it has not affected me. The hostmaster for
sparkplug.kernel-panic.org needs to ask the IP address provider to add
the PTR record ( it should point back to "sparkplug.kernel-panic.org" ).

   Cheers
