Yesterday morning when I was at Fry's they has a whole endcap display
of "Greenlite LED Desk Lamp". For about $5.00, subsidized by SDG&E.
Inside the box is a smallish desk lamp with 11 white LEDs. Inside the
lamp body are 3 AA 1000 mAh NiCads. Also in the box is a small
switching power supply wall wart, 5 VDC 0.5A. The NiCads plus the
wall wart must be worth more than $5 all by themselves.
