I recommend you try the local sdw2003.org mailing list. There is a lot nice
guys and there is some very knowledgeable people there. You can also try the
sbs2k yahoo group as well. Another good source is the MS usenet forums. There
is MS employees who will give advice and answer questions. Microsoft requires
their employees to spend a certain amount of time to answering questions.

I've been hanging out on the sdw2003 mailing list for the last nine months just to see how the other half lives. It's no KPLUG, that's for sure. Just about the only thing the KPLUG and Windows list have in common is Randall's incoherent ramblings from inside the pages of a CIO magazine and horrendous quoting. If you want to score a lot of free steak lunches at Donovan's while some vendor tries to bribe you into talking your company into buying their products it's a good place to be. You'll never see a flameware or even a spirited debate on the windows list. Why? Either there's not much to debate (Microsoft says this is how it is end of story) or nobody gives a care. They are 9 to 5'ers just looking to collect a check in a field that someone told them made a lot of money. Being on the windows mailing list makes me appreciate KPLUG (the lists, the meetings, the after meeting meetings, the IRC channel, none of which the windows guys have) in the same way that traveling in a third world country makes me appreciate the USA: It's not perfect but at least we don't have sewage running down the streets.

<one word per line (WTF?!) quoting snipped>
