Fine for normal DVD.  I'm watching Blu-Ray discs, though.

Comments I have seen elsewhere indicate that the upscaler is one of the best out there, but I can't speak from personal experience.

The upscaler in my 20" Gateway is outstanding.  But, I'm more concerned
about feeding HD into it.  It look great, it just has a bug, or possibly a
feature.  The wide-screen monitors don't have the same aspect ratio as HD,
so there are going to be thin black bars.  I wonder if someone thought they
looked bad, so the had the engineers "stretch" the image to fill the
screen.

For SD, there is a menu setting, but that setting is ignored for HD.
