I'm aware of this.  I thought it was weird, but mii-tool and ethtool
were confirming that I was plugged into the right one, so...

Anyway, I rebooted to get the system into a known state.  I was going to
try configuring another interface as eth0, but after the reboot it
worked.  I brought up the other interfaces and everything worked, so I
guess I'll never know just what in Hades they did to it :-)
