As the headline says on the SunFreeware site:
"Celebrating 14 Years as the #1 Site for Free Software Packages for Solaris."

I think I have known them almost since their beginning.  Maybe about
the time that I switched from SunOS 4.1.1 to Solaris 2.5 or 2.6.  On
32-bit Sparc of course.

But it would be nice to have some clarification about 32-bit vs 64-bit
processors.  Maybe it is all done automagically.  Except perhaps for
compilers that could be targeted to different word lengths.
