I do not find them dirty. Besides there is no reason that you must have them on a web site of your own. What are you talking about? Because they work. I find that highly targeted adds are useful from time to time and do click on them. Now if you look at most of the advertising industry it is not held accountable. But with adds like those that Google presents the advertiser knows what works and what does not. It is not like running a 30 second iamge add on TV.
