I say this because it installs the liveCD which is probably not the same as a standard filesystem installation. For instance, in Knoppix, doing this type of thing puts a 700MB filesystem image on the disk and then uses the CDROM boot image as the boot process. I've got a coffee table computer setup this way so that all I have to do is copy the image and boot files to update the system and I've hacked the loader to enable persistent storage outside of the liveCD image.
