I _think_ what I need to know is how to reset the config for cdstatus so
it points to freedb, which seems to have moved its URL for queries. From
the posts (thanks, all) I suspect it Gracenote came on the scene before my
proggie broke, so venal and evil as it may be, it ain't my current
problem.

I wish I had these conversations at home where I could post configs etc. I
wish I had more time at home to experiment with what I learn here. I wish
I wish I wish ...
