OK, the Download Embedded (DL) extension puts a red down-arror on the lower right of the Firefox window. I always get _only_ these entries in the Embedded Objects listbox http://youtube.com/version-check.swf http://youtube.com/player2.swf That's on an x86_64 system where the flash plugin doesn't work (although the standalone fplayer program does work). On U804, Firefox 3beta -- the DL extension doesn't seem to do be available for this FF version. On a LinuxMint with FF 2.0.0.14, the DL list still only shows the above 2 swf's. Am I doing something wrong? For the record, I have messed with the source, and constructed links to the correct URLs and even played them on my x86_64 with the standalone fplayer program. That's too much messin' around, though. Regards, ..jim -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
