Has anyone used Second Life or its clones? I've never have but I'm wondering if it is the "Next Big Thing (TM)". It seems plausible that 3d could be a big step for web.
I'm disappointed in Second Life and Google's new Lively because they aren't open source and require Vista or serious hardware to use. http://opensimulator.org is BSD licensed but I'm disappointed because it is written in C# for Mono and .NET.
