Every so often an indicator of a running task appears in my task bar,
it says "HTTP Cache Cleaner".  While it is there, the ghostly spinning
cursor is also present.  I don't notice any slowdown of other
activity, but maybe this is because I am playing solitaire at the
time.

Anybody know what this is, and what it is really doing?  The only clue
I have is:
