What I support is good international police work to catch the criminalswho
attacked us in NYC and DC, coupled with military action as inAfghanistan ONLY
when a government supports the criminals.
Sodom the Insane was supporting the criminals. If you'll recall the
most recent Senate pronouncement on the subject ( misquoted as
usual by the Lamestream Media ) said that this was so even if Baghdad
was not exercising "Operational Control". This is the difference
between me giving you $20 and telling you to go buy ice cream and
giving the same $20 and telling you to go have fun.
That and the many other things he was doing made SH a boil that had
to be lanced. Get over it.
Terrorism is fungible as recent events on the Afghan/Pak border are
demonstrating.
I'm sick to death of the US government declaring "wars" on habits, ways of
life, economic ideas, and asymetrical conflict techniques. Why not a war on
fatigue? On clashing colors?
And why prithee should asymetrical conflict techniques be exempt
from retribution? Bin Laden and his ilk got the crazy idea that since
the first failed attempt at the WTC had little tangible fallout for them
they should try again. By the time Klintoon's watch had ended they
were ready to go and Ms Gorelick's legalisms had set us up to be
blindsided.
It's stupid jingoism designed to make us give up our frontal lobes (and
wallets).
And I'll bet you think Algore's plan to stop all use of fossil fuels in
10 years will work?
And yes Jim I know this is off topic but I'm not about to stand silently
by and let someone who clearly doesn't know jack about the whys
and hows of the current conflict to motor on unchallenged. Silence
is consent.
