Conceded.

I think the basis for this word list is Webster's New International 2d
Ed, with a bunch of modern additions.

Where do I look if I want a similar file for words of the Spanish language?

You can start with Google search on "ispell+spanish" if what you want
is a spelling corrector..
Wikipedia article on Spanish Language has a number of references.

Not a corrector, no. All I seek is a searchable list like the English file /usr/share/dict/linux.words, but for Spanish.

Every once in a while, it helps in things like crossword puzzles or the like. When I know how many letters, and what some of them are, regex can give me a short list to consider.

I remember one time creating a script file where I could input an anagram and it would spit out the possibilities contained in the file.

What is important to remember here is that propaganda of this sort is not designed to fool critical thinkers, but to provide conforming individuals with a reason not to start thinking critically. Thus the total destruction of the World Trade Center in such a dramatic yet obvious way was, in my opinion, an essential, psychological component of the operation.
