There was *one* trimmed down tiny ARM image there that had no development tools. I can try to somehow get networking and NFS working on it to somehow pull down ARM GDB and GCC source. Not sure how hard that will be. I found 2 URLS with instructions to install Debian ARM Linux in QEMU. One failed me and the other seems tricky too. I guess I must keep trying a multiple of paths and hope one actually works. There doesn't seem to be a big beefy disk image for QEMU/ARM/Linux with dev tools. > What matters isn't C or assembly, but what runtime is being linked in. Sounds like what you are saying is that it is useless to get GDB/Armulator and GCC cross compiler from *different* sources since they are so dependent on each other. I'm not sure if there is a respected source for GDB/Armulator and GCC cross compiler tools from same source.
