This is probably an advanced topic but anyone wanting to play with multiple Linux distributions on the same PC should look into using Xen as opposed to dual-booting. The box I demonstrated at the KPLUG meeting a number of months back is still running strong with zero crashes and 4 domains (virtual systems) running on it. Xen is ready for production use IMHO.
