Sorry for hitting the reply. I won't do that in the future.

I am 20 years old and I have basic server experience with Gentoo and
CentOS. I can run a basic server with web/ftp/email/mysql and basic dns
functionality. I have a entry level understanding of hardware... relative
to other Linux users, but I am working towards A+ certification. I have a
strong understanding of XHTML/CSS/Photoshop/Windows and a basic level
understanding of PHP/MySQL/Flash8.

Are there any specific companies that look for college interns in the San
Diego area?

Do you have any companies I could specifically look for an internship in?

At the risk of greeting your enthusiasm as a grinch, one thing to do would
be to improve your email etiquette. It appears you started this question
by hitting "reply" in an unrelated email (to copy the To address,
probably), and then didn't even bother to change the subject line. This
has the effect of threading and archiving your question (which isn't a bad
question) in the wrong places, and confusing the conversation on
"Searchable mailing list archive." Please stop doing that.

Now to your question. I have no idea about your other experience, age,
etc, but if you're still a student, an internship in a Linux based company
is a place to start.
