Actually ... I have a few more urgent things. First, Ubuntu Edgy Eft updated the kernel, and a few headers don't seem to update automatically. I want to try updating these with a few gurus around who can save me if I mess up. Second, I'd like to try generating some bitmap fonts ... like, Cyrillic, from an existing font accessible through FontForge. Third, I'd like to try and compile a reasonably complex software package (ngspice) that I can't get with apt-get under ubuntu. Forth ... hmmm, it would be kind of cool to get that, too. : 4 5 ; and such. Fifth, someone has just recommended eclipse as programming enviroment (C, C++ for starters) to me. Sixth ... yes, when it comes to sound under Mathematica, I will not buy this record it is scratched. See you tomorrow!
