The RHEL installer may be different (less user-friendly) from the FC
installers, but normally there is no "installation" until after
disk-partition diddling is negotiated with the operator.

It could be that RHEL _assumes_ it is working on a virgin disk. If so
the advice already given is appropriate. It might conceivably also mean
that there is some hardware incompatibility, or that the install program
needs a custom command to cope with the hardware.

In any case, if It is RHEL, you (or your company, perhaps) paid the big
bucks so that you could get support from RH, right? I don't think anyone
here will avoid providing help and encouragement, but I am curious why
you posted here instead of getting on the phone to RH? Or doesn't it
work that way .. I may be all wet ;-!
