might be more familiar with the organization and operation of the
group.

The SDCS board has several director or "member-at-large" positions.
Five at the moment. The office has a two-year tenure, and this one is
up for re-election this year. Four other directors have served for
one year or less, and are not up for re-election.
There are more positions than are currently filled, if you or someone
else wants to run for one.
