I have x264 and libdca packages on my f7, but don't ask me how they got
there, or why I need them! :-)

when I run
  rpm -q --wharequires x264
and
  rpm -q --whatrequires libdca

both of these report
  no package requires ...

If you get anything different, I'd like to see the output.
But if your system also reports "no package requires ..", perhaps you
might consider
  rpm -e --allmatches x264 libdca
(I'm a little gun shy of 'yum erase x264 libdca'
just because of the possibility of overlooking
dependencies that might exist and be removed)
followed by
  yum install x264 libdca

..on the thought that a fresh install may work where an update failed.
There's always the possibility that the fresh install may fail (at least
that'd stop the update errors ;-) ), and then you wouldn't be able to
use those capabilities, namely:
- from rpm -qi x264
Library for encoding and decoding H264/AVC video streams

x264 is a free library for encoding H264/AVC video streams, written from
scratch.

- from rpm -qi libdca
DTS Coherent Acoustics decoder library

libdca is a free library for decoding DTS Coherent Acoustics streams. It
is released under the terms of the GPL license. The DTS Coherent
Acoustics standard is used in a variety of applications, including DVD,
DTS audio CD and radio broadcasting.
