This month, my ISP, DSLextreme.com, mail account ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) was activated on a new email platform powered by Google Apps. This requires me to reset Evolution preferences. I was concerned, because I like Evolution and want to keep it.
I was unable reset the ports until being told: set pop as "pop.gmail.com:995" and smtp as "smpt.gmail.com:467". (Note that both are set for SSL). It works for me.
