I have a server that needs some ports open & others closed & stealthed I tried to open the necessary ports by opening them in the firewall this did not produce the expected results On an nmap scan these ports at first did not show at all now the ports show but they appear as closed Could someone instruct me on how to open specific ports in iptables and how to make all unnecessary ports closed and stealthed?
