Re: both responses from KPLUG geeks to Linux issue of ComputorEdge online: 1) ComputorEdge went online Jan. 2008 after 24 yrs. of hard copy. (It began May 16, 1983 as The Byte Buyer.) 2) No doubt the Linux issue last month was weak; however, Linux articles for this issue were invited from Linux users . Had there been contributions from, e.g., members of KPLUG, users of the MS monopoly who read the ComputorEdge may have leaned what a treasure Linux is - and tried it. 3) I was using an Apple 2e (1983) when I read about Linux in ComputorEdge more than 10 years ago, and here I am now a dedicated Linux user and pusher.
