Our Lab site in Mission Valley isn't available this month, so I'm
staging a repeat of the June Linux Lab and BBQ. This is an open
invitation to come to my house on Saturday, 12 December for a Linux Lab
and BBQ.
What you need to bring:
COMPUTER - see the checklist on the web site. I don't have all the nice
extra stuff like at National City, so if you want it to work, bring
EVERYTHING.
FOOD: I have a couple BBQ's (one charcoal, one gas) that you can use,
plus some utensils. I'll also have plates and cups. Note that it might
be raining, so I also have a regular stove and microwave if you want hot
food cooked in those devices.
BEVERAGES: As this is a private residence, you may bring adult beverages
(e.g. beer) for personal consumption plus sharing. I'll provide a cooler
with ice. Fair warning, you may want to ensure you get here earlier to
make sure your helpers haven't had too many before they begin to "help".
FAMILY/FRIENDS: Older kids are are OK but my house isn't kid safe.
Location:
8774 Encino Ave
San Diego, CA 92123
Phone: 858-565-1666
Time: 12 December 2009 10:00 till ???
This is one of the few times you can stay really late.
I'm willing to show my work on the wireless mesh project I'm working on
plus some embedded stuff. I also have a MythTV setup that you can look
at, although there's not really much to it.
