Mike, I'm a dues-paid member of the Kernel Panic Linux Users Group, and to my understanding, a member of the SDCS as a consequence. I understand that an election will be held on April 6th at the SDMUG meeting to fill five vacancies on the SDCS Board.
After some thought, I've concluded that it's time to give back for all the benefits I've received from KPLUG and the SDCS. I would like to offer myself as a candidate for the Board. I understand that contacting you is the first step in getting on the ballot. Please let me know if there are other steps that I need to take (other than showing up for the meeting).
