I'm heading up to the colo tomorrow around noon and bringing Sparky
III with me for installation. My plan is to execute a P2V (Physical
to Virtual) migration of the old server. This will mean some
downtime for the website and mailing lists tomorrow. Not sure how
long... if my first shot works, it should be short - 1 to 2 hours.
If it's more complex than that, my schedule is going to require me to
take the servers with me so I can complete the migration at my office
and then return them on my next trip to Sorrento Valley around 7PM in
the evening.
Just a heads up... and I'll be posting details about the process and
configuration to this list later, for the purpose of learning as well
as documentation.
