Dan,
Your initial report was good but this is better to hear! Congrats on taking
the work to fully inspect. You'll be in the air in no time; fully reassured
and improved to boot. Congrats!

Subject: KR> No Serious Damage

After a thorough inspection I have concluded that the worst damage that was
caused to the Black Bird is me cutting open the wing to inspect the spar and
gear leg on the passenger side. I am certain that there is no damage to the
spar, but would have to remove the gear leg to be absolutely sure that it is
not cracked. My conclusion is that if it were cracked, it could not hold up
a 750# aircraft. The hole in the wing will be repaired this week and I will
be back in the air as soon as the Skyview is installed.

The Dynon Skyview and modules are in the works but I don't have a ship or
delivery date yet. I am planning the panel and will soon remove the one in
the Black Bird so I can be ready to install the new stuff when it arrives.
As soon as I finish this latest upgrade to the Black Bird, all the units
that have been removed and not sold by then, will go on Barnstormers and
EBay.
