I must confess, I made an over site at the Gathering. Virgil Salisbury mailed a package to Chris several months before the Gathering with instructions not to open.
A day or two before the Gathering I received an e-mail from Virgil with the following instructions: "Open the mail after the Dinner, Virg". Virgil never wastes more than a word or two in his e-mails. It didn't dawn on me that what Virgil was trying to say was "use the package as a door prize". I set the package with all my other Gathering stuff and then forgot to do anything with it until packing up to go home. I opened the package and found several VHS tapes of past Gatherings, all the way back to Rough River. So, now what to do with them. I tried to check them out on my VCR for quality and I'm not pressing the right buttons or something. I have no idea of who did the taping or sold the videos. Is there anyone that would like to take on the task of converting the VHS to DVD and making them available at cost. I can't imagine they are still available for sale anywhere so if someone made them available at cost the original seller would not object. Just a guess on my part. If the original maker of the videos is on the net, please advise. Anyway, that's the deal. Sorry Virgil............. Larry Flesner
