I had a Sonerai for a little while. When I bought it the previous owner told me that if flies just like a Cub. I though no possible way, but sure enough it flew just like a Cub. A KR is nothing like a Cub. Time in a Sonerai, or anything different than you normally fly for that matter, will help you, but it will still not be like a KR.
