I needed to extend my cowling roughly 4 inches when I was finishing my KR. ?I sanded a scarf into the trailing edge of the cowl, then pop riveted some aluminum flashing to the cowl to use as a mold for the extension. ?Then it was just a matter of laying up the glass, drilling out the rivets to remove the flashing, then sand and finish. -Jeff Scott Los Alamos, NM
