Bill,

I always tend to think of the 1835 as too small for a KR, but there are a 
number of them flying in KRs, so maybe it's just me that's too big for an 1835. 
 ;o)  

As mentioned Joe at Revmaster is a good resource, although I'm not sure he does 
much parts wise with the smaller 1835 engines as most of what I see at 
Revmaster is the 2100 and 2300cc engines.  Also Steve Bennett at Great Planes 
has been a long time resource for the VWs used in KRs and carries an inventory 
for the 1835 and the 2180 VW engines.  Both companies are reputable and 
reasonable to work with.
