Bill, I always tend to think of the 1835 as too small for a KR, but there are a number of them flying in KRs, so maybe it's just me that's too big for an 1835. ;o)
As mentioned Joe at Revmaster is a good resource, although I'm not sure he does much parts wise with the smaller 1835 engines as most of what I see at Revmaster is the 2100 and 2300cc engines. Also Steve Bennett at Great Planes has been a long time resource for the VWs used in KRs and carries an inventory for the 1835 and the 2180 VW engines. Both companies are reputable and reasonable to work with. -Jeff Scott Los Alamos, NM > Sent: Friday, December 12, 2014 at 8:49 AM > From: "Bill Wood via KRnet" <krnet at list.krnet.org> > To: "krnet at list.krnet.org" <krnet at list.krnet.org> > Subject: KR> First time KR2 owner.. > > I have been on here watching all that is going on and I am quite impressed.. > I am a low time pilot and new to the KR scene.
