I didn't use the right term - "reinforcing" to be replaced by "fixing" issues 
with one or two misaligned or too large WAF bolt holes.
A fellow builder wanted to put a heavier engine on his plane, so he 
"reinforced" the area around the firewall bulkhead engine mount holes using 
this method.

Ken Rand WAF's, as designed, and if installed properly, are strong enough for 
KR-2S, even with moderate span and GW increase.
