Chris The whole deck is the way to go. Antenna mounts, AHRS, transponder, ELT, ADS-B, remote temp, .....plus a whole lot of dirt ends up back there. Many things that you think that you will never want will all need a home whether it is under the hood or the turtle deck it sure is easier to install and maintain after the fact when you can get to it.
