I would like to post the following. "New to the KR scene, but I have been looking at building an aircraft since 2008. Right now I'm looking at doing a KRSuper1. Taking ideas and techniques from the KRSuper2 and KR-1 airframes. Looking to power it with a Corvair and make it a slick as possible.
A few questions and uncertainties. 1. I haven't been able to find a good 3D software for a decent price (if not freeware) that is user friendly. For those that have used them, what's a good program for designing an airframe? 2. Are there any KRs currently in the North Carolina area? 3. Any input on building a plywood full scale "model" before cutting up the good foam and wood.
