After literally years of prep and anticipation, I will be unable to attend or fly my KR-2 to the Gathering for 2016. My KR-2 waits patiently while I get myself ready to fly. Just had the left eye cataract surgery yesterday. Right eye had its turn three weeks ago and healing nicely. Amazing how we can take this marvelous gift of sight for granted - until it threatens to leave. Next year, whether Illinois or Kansas, I will be there.
