For builders still looking to get in the air, don't let prices like these discourage you. Round gauges still work just fine and a cheap ipad running $69 a year software will get you anywhere you want to go. If you don't have the ADS-B equipment installed just stay out of controlled airspace requiring it and look out the window for other aircraft. Don't let the market place kill your dream of building / flying your own airplane. It's too easy to get caught up in "I'd love to have it" rather than "I really need it". Larry Flesner
