One of the list rules (or at least 'netiquette' issues) is to avoid "me too" posts so I won't take up space here to echo what has already been said to Mark Jones about the beautiful and unique 1/4-clamshell-gullwing-whatever canopy setup. What I will say is, "Mark- don't spoil it by using hardware store hinges!" At least work out a design with the pivot pin part submerged in the construction rather than flyin' in the airstream. What you have here is a GlasAir setup with Flying Squirrel hinges ;o)
