FYI, I can second that.  I had a 5 by-pass in 1995 and had a similar
experience.  Once they have all the info they need [complete medical
history] they make a go, no go, decision based on heart damage. I did not
have a heart attack but a angina attack, prelude to the heart attack.  Then
the by-pass was done.  Since then I do my stress test and blood chemistry
and get my medical back[ one year at a time].
