Mark Langford may have to correct me on this one, but I believe he has on his 
site an illustration of the pressure developed around the cowling of a KR, and 
if that carries through to the bottom of the fuselage, you will not be able to 
close the window very easily,or maybe at all once open, and may find a drastic 
change in aircraft performance due to disrupted airflow/aerodynamics.  If such 
high pressure air is allowed to enter the cockpit it may also strain/blowout 
the canopy/windows due to the lower pressure within the cockpit relative to the 
outside bottom air.  I would do some serious checking before making this 
modification and then flying.
