A complete dissasembly of the engine. My problem was oil was dripping off
of the case half nuts, this meant the seals ( orings ) that go over the
case half studs had to be defective-------------as i removed them several
almost fell apart. This eng was built in 81 but I'm the only one to fly
it..
Of course I replaced the front and rear main seals as well, along with
everything else. VW's are neat as u can let the pistons in the cyls and
pull the wrist pin with out exposing the rings.
