I take that you want to build as quick as possible and start flying as soon as possible. Build to plans so that you can use as many premolded parts as possible. Not the cheapest way to go but the fastest. Tom Crawford built an award winning KR using an many premolded parts as he could in 9 months. Come to the gathering and someone will let you sit in their KR to see how it fits, maybe you'll get a ride.
