Well, I didn't actually build it.  I bought it.  But I did contribute to its
ugliness afterwards.  N5834 was certificated in 1995.  I am at  least the
6th owner after the builder, make that final builder.  This plane traveled
all over Florida, to Texas and had 3 owners in Ohio.  (I actually picked it
up in Michigan.)  Not one of them admits to ever flying it.

BTW, I am determined to finish my White Lightning, but I realized last
November that it was going to take a lot longer than I thought.  So I
purchased this completed, certificated KR-2 and worked on it for 6 months
prior to flying it.

The question remains,  "Will there be an ugly award?"
