KR> AC Registration

Guys,
I'm still a little fuzzy on the correct order to get registered. Can the
request for the N number be sent in separately or does it have to be sent
at the same time as the rest of the registration documents and they fill
in the blanks where the N number is missing ?? I want to get it right on
the first try and I'm not sure about this because they say  incomplete
documents will be returned or delayed.
