There is no "lawyer involved".  There are many issues to deal with,
particularly in the case where one person dies and the family decides that
they do want to get a lawyer to take your plane away from you, when that is
something that neither of you wanted to happen.

What happens when one decides that he does not want to pay hangar rent or
insurance anymore?

If the plane is damaged and if it is deemed to be due to mechanical error,
both pay, otherwise the one who broke it pays and neither can agree.

There is always room for disputes, even among the best of friends and a 
contract" is worthless if it has no way to handle disputes.  I need a way to
make the contract valid, so no one else can step in and mess with OUR plane.
